🌊 What makes your products different?

We don’t just sea the world differently—we design it differently. Most of our apparel features rare vintage scientific illustrations created by real-life marine biologists and naturalists from the 16th–18th centuries. We scan them at ultra-high resolutions, clean up centuries of wear and tear, and give them a new life on sustainable fabrics.

🧵 What are your products made of?

Wherever possible, we do our best to source sustainable materials for our products. Many of our items are made with 80%+ recycled materials, and all are printed on demand. That means we only make what’s needed—no overproduction, no wasteful warehouses, no octopuses harmed in the process.

⏳ How long does shipping take?

All our items are made to order, which means production takes a little longer. But it’s worth the wait!

• Production Time: 5–10 business days

• Shipping Time: 3–7 business days (depending on location and carrier)

Please note: During holidays or global kraken emergencies, timelines may shift slightly.

📬 Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship to most regions in North America, the UK, Australia, and beyond. Shipping times and rates vary depending on where you live (and how far it is from our print partners).

If your country isn’t showing up at checkout, send us a message; we’ll check for a workaround.

🔁 Can I return or exchange an item?

Since everything we make is custom printed just for you, we don’t accept general returns or exchanges.

BUT—if your item arrives damaged, defective, or with the wrong design/size, we’ll fix it! Just email us at support@oceanvistaapparel.com with your order number and a photo, and we’ll send a replacement or refund.

We’re not shellfish! We want you to love your gear.

📏 How do I choose the right size?

We include size guides on every product page. Be sure to check them before ordering—especially for fitted items like swimwear or sports bras.

Pro tip: If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort. (Especially if you plan to frolic with dolphins.)

🧽 How should I care for my item?

To keep your gear looking sea-sational:

• Wash inside out with cold water

• Use mild detergent (nothing harsh; no coral bleachers here!)

• Hang dry or tumble dry on low

Avoid ironing directly on the design, unless you want your octopus to look... abstract.

🎁 Do you offer gift options?

Absolutely! Our items make perfect gifts for:

• Science teachers

• Ocean nerds

• Mythical sea monster enthusiasts

• That one friend who named their sourdough starter “Nessie”

While we don’t offer physical gift wrap just yet, you can ship directly to your recipient and include a gift note during checkout.
